Benn Skender

Chief Executive Officer

Benn Skender joined PlaySide as Chief Strategy Officer in September 2022 and was appointed CEO in March 2025. During his time at PlaySide he has worked closely with Co-Founder Gerry Sakkas in setting the Company’s medium-term direction and in communicating with investors, and his appointment to CEO was part of the succession planning process planned by Gerry and the Board. He has developed strong working relationships with senior personnel across the business, having assumed responsibility for the Operations function of the Company in 2024.

Benn graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Information Systems and Accounting. He has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia.
